The HMS Victory is 186 feet long with a beam of 51 feet 10 inches. Her keel was laid on July 23,1759 and was launched on May 7, 1765. Armed with 104 guns and a crew of 850 men, she served as Lord Nelson's flagship until his death at the Battle of Trafalgar on October 21, 1805. She sustained extensive damage and never engaged in a battle again. The ship has been restored to its appearance during the Battle of Trafalgar.
