This is an unusual model type in that while not a ship model per se, it represents in three dimensional form the gun station of a frigate ship. It highlights the cannons with ammunition and loading devices for the guns. Powder buckets, barrel cleaning swabs, and other equipment necessary to fire the cannons are arranged about the gun station for ready use. Even the bunks, mess tins, tables, benches and kitchen utensils are shown here!
